I’m Cole Sanderson, a proud father of two young kids and happily married. My journey in web development began at BCIT, where I completed the Web Development program. Since then, I’ve worked at some incredible companies, including startups LemonStand (acquired by Mailchimp) and Mobify (acquired by Salesforce). I spent four years at Thinkific, both before and after its IPO, honing my skills in front-end development and accessibility. With over 10 years of experience, I’m passionate about creating high-performance, SEO-optimized websites that deliver real results.
Sports have always been a big part of my life. From elementary school through high school, I played competitive basketball, volleyball, beach volleyball, baseball, badminton, hockey, and more. I’ve even competed on the world stage at two Deaflympics (in Taipei and Sofia) and the World Deaf Beach Volleyball Championship. When spring and summer roll around, you can find me playing beach volleyball at Kitsilano Beach. I’m also passionate about staying active with my kids, enjoying sports together as a family.
My passion for web development goes beyond just building websites—I’m dedicated to making the web accessible to everyone. I believe in crafting sites that are not only visually appealing but also fully inclusive, ensuring an excellent user experience for all. With a strong foundation in front-end development and a keen eye for detail, I bring a commitment to quality in everything I do, from accessibility compliance to SEO best practices.
Outside of work, my life revolves around my family and sports. Being a dad to two energetic kids keeps me on my toes, and I love being involved in their sports and activities. I bring the same drive and dedication I have for competitive sports to my work at BoldWeb Solutions. My goal is to help small businesses thrive online by providing them with high-quality, performance-driven websites that make an impact.
